The Cosmetic Dentistry Academy of Nigeria Limited (CDAN) is an international continuing education and professional training institution dedicated to advancing excellence in cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, and related dental disciplines.
CDAN provides structured online education, live seminars, webinars, mentorship programs, and clinical training opportunities for dental professionals and students globally.
Our mission is to build a global network of experienced dental professionals who are passionate about teaching, mentoring, and contributing to the advancement of dental education while also creating additional professional income opportunities.
Dr. Monica Vincent Ajadalu’s journey toward establishing the Cosmetic Dentistry Academy of Nigeria Limited began with her formal induction into the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), United States of America, in 2015.
She was officially welcomed into the AACD professional community and participated in the 31st Annual AACD Scientific Session in San Francisco, California, USA, 2015
This global scientific session brought together leading cosmetic dentists from around the world and provided Dr. Ajadalu with exposure to advanced cosmetic dentistry techniques, global professional standards, and international academic collaboration.
This marked the beginning of her active engagement with the global cosmetic dentistry community and laid the foundation for her future leadership role in advancing cosmetic dentistry in Nigeria.
In 2017, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry announced its international Member-Get-a-Member recruitment contest in preparation for the AACD 2018 Scientific Conference in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
Responding to this call, Dr. Monica Vincent Ajadalu began actively mobilising and mentoring Nigerian dental professionals, encouraging them to join the AACD and participate in global professional development.
Through her leadership and dedication, she successfully recruited numerous dental professionals into the AACD, strengthening Nigeria’s presence in the global cosmetic dentistry community.
INTERNATIONAL LEADERSHIP ENGAGEMENT AND ENDORSEMENT OF AACD NIGERIA AFFILIATE (October 27, 2017)

During this important leadership meeting, the establishment of an AACD affiliate in Nigeria was formally encouraged and endorsed.

On October 27, 2017, under the leadership of President Dwight Rickert, CDT, FAACD, President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), The Nigerian affiliate initiative received formal institutional encouragement and endorsement, marking a historic milestone for cosmetic dentistry development in Nigeria.
This endorsement became a key catalyst for establishing a structured professional cosmetic dentistry institution in Nigeria.
Following international encouragement and professional recognition, Dr. Monica Vincent Ajadalu formally established the Cosmetic Dentistry Academy of Nigeria Limited (CDAN) on November 8, 2017. The Academy was subsequently registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Nigeria, as a professional dental education, mentorship, research, and training institution.

Initially established as the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Nigeria Affiliate, the organization later evolved into an independent institution officially registered as the Cosmetic Dentistry Academy of Nigeria Limited (CDAN).
GLOBAL RECOGNITION AND AACD INTERNATIONAL AWARD (2017–2018)
Through her exceptional leadership and professional engagement, Dr. Monica Vincent Ajadalu recorded the highest number of global member referrals during the AACD Member-Get-a-Member Contest (April 18, 2017 – January 31, 2018).
As a result of this historic achievement, she emerged as the Global Grand Prize Winner.
She was formally honored at the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Annual Scientific Conference, McCormick Place, Chicago, Illinois, USA, on April 18, 2018
